why did i start my brand?
My mom was diagnosed with cancer last year, and one thing she never did was lose her faith. She always said that God has a plan and encouraged us to have faith. I always wondered how she stayed so calm and unworried through it all. Then I came across a verse that gave me clarity—2 Corinthians 1:3–4:
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
If you’re going through tough times—like a breakup, the loss of a loved one, stress, anxiety, or, like me, someone in your family getting sick—you can pray and come to God. Ask Him for comfort and to release that pain and discomfort from your body and mind. (2 Corinthians 1:3)
With God by her side, my mom beat cancer. Now I want to spread His word, which is why I created a Christian brand.
Verse 4 says that with the love and comfort we receive from God, we can then comfort others who are suffering. That means if you see a friend, a family member, or even a stranger who looks like they’re going through something—talk to them. Be there for them. You never know when someone just needs to feel loved.
When you comfort someone, you plant a seed in their heart. Someday, when they see someone else going through the same pain they once experienced, they might feel called to do the same—to love, support, and comfort that person.
I chose to base my brand on this verse because of all the mental and physical challenges people face in the world today. If I can spread this message to more people, they can share it with others who need to hear it.
