why did i start my brand?
My mom got diagnosed with cancer last year, and one thing my mom never did was lose her faith. She always talked about how God has a plan and to have FAITH. But I always wondered how she was so calm and not worried about it at all. And then I read and found the verse (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
Which says.. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort….who comforts us in all our afflictions and troubles in our life. So we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction which the Love and comfort we receive from the Lord."
If you’re going through tough times like a breakup, someone passed in your family, you feel stressed, have anxiety, or like me…someone in your family got sick. You can pray and come to God asking for comfort and for him to release all that discomfort from your body and mind. (2 Corinthians 1:3) with God by her side, she beat cancer. Now I want to spread his word, so I made this Christian brand.
Now why do we have dominos as our designs? Dominos…when they fall it’s called the domino effect, one falls, they all fall, and in (2 Corinthians 1:4) it says that with love and comfort we receive from God, we can comfort our peers who may need it as well. That means if we see a friend or family member or even a random person and they look like they are going through something. Talk to them, be there for them, you never know when someone needs to be loved. Just comfort them and let them know they are loved….now when you do that, you plant a seed in their heart and maybe someday when they see someone going through that same pain they went through, they want to be there for that individual and to love and comfort them. So that’s why we have dominos on the back of our hoodie. It has a beautiful secret meaning. The domino effect of cozy and unconditional Love.
I chose to base my brand on this verse because of all the mental and physical challenges we have in the world today, and if I can spread this message to more people, then they can pass it and share it to someone who may need to hear it.
